Fun For Kids!
Fun For Kids! is a dynamic summer day camp held from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This twenty year old program has won numerous resort awards and grown to accommodate almost five thousand resort day campers every summer. Under the management of, The Russell Company, Fun For Kids! has created a safe, educational, high energy program that includes field trips on the "big blue bus" to locations such as a water slide park, a putt-putt golf center, a 500 acre forest preserve, and an ocean trip on an environmental dolphin cruise. Other activities include beach games, arts and crafts, swimming, bowling, and many other activities.
A Fun For Kids! summer staff member will experience very close inter-action with children aged 4-12. Our staff implements a well prepared program with diverse activities that demand strong personal skills, "hands on" teaching, and individual leadership. From greeting the children in the mornings, to directing the various field trips, to a plunge in the pools, and then signing out children to their parents in the afternoon, no two days are the same at Fun For Kids!
Fun For Kids! is an excellent program for students majoring in elementary education, recreation, hotel management, and other hospitality programs. Students experience almost every aspect of the resort business with reservations, bookings, activities, marketing, and guest relations.
